This is such a stylish black and ivory polka dot dress from the 1960's! Perfect mod styling by Nordic designer Vuokko Finland. It has a hood, oversized polka dot print, and zips up the front.

The dress has a black base color, with extra large cream polka dots all over it! It has a tent dress cut and long sleeves. It has hip slit pockets and is in great condition, with just one little smudge on one of the polka dots.

Vuokko Nurmesniemi designed many important textiles in the mid century. She worked as a designer for Marimekko in the 1950's and then created her own line. This is a print that is a signature one for Vuokko and we love the fact that it has a hood!
